The William Ris Galleryarrived on the North Fork in 2016. That summer we were pleased to present the first Abstract Women exhibition.

This summer, the second Abstract Women show will open on August 10th. The exhibition includes both emerging and mid-career artists highlighting the works of Dianne Athey, Anahi DeCanio, Anokhee Designs, Jacqueline Ferrante, Diane Hulse, Judith Nilson, Sarah Jaffe Turnbull, Marilyn Weiss and Valerie Zeman. Using a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, jewelry and textiles, each artist brings her own unique style to the show. Color is woven through the collection revealing each artist’s personality, substance and passion for their respective disciplines.
