 The William Ris Gallery will celebrate its second anniversary on the North Fork with E S C A P E S, a group show featuring land and seascape art inspired by the East Coast. On exhibit from June 16th through July 8th with an opening reception on Saturday, June 16th, 4 – 7 pm 

Included will be the works of prominent East Coast artists: Kelly Franké, Kurt Giehl, David Peikon, Jim Sabiston, Eileen Dawn Skretch, James Stewart and Amy Worth whose works range from realism to ethereal and abstract to illustrative. Curated and organized by gallery owner and director Mary Cantone, E S C A P E S will comprise of 30 works varying in medium from oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, watercolors and ink drawings. 

“I was first introduced to the North Fork three years ago and felt an immediate connection to the environment and creative community of artists and knew I would one day relocate my gallery to the East End. E S C A P E S is an exhibition which marks my second year in Jamesport and celebrates the beauty of the area and the artists who capture its essence” says Cantone

 The William Ris Gallery is owned and directed by Mary Cantone who is dedicated to the importance of collecting original art and supporting artists. The Gallery exhibits an extensive selection of original contemporary works by East Coast artists with a Long Island concentration.
